Blue Haven Foundation is proud to announce Brooklynn Carter of Loyola Marymount University as the inaugural recipient of the Blue Haven Foundation Undergraduate Scholar of the Year Award.
Established June 2026, this award recognizes a student who exemplifies academic excellence, leadership, service, mentorship, and purpose-driven achievement throughout her collegiate journey. The award was created to celebrate students who not only excel in the classroom but also make a meaningful impact on their campuses, in their communities, and in the lives of others.
Recipients are selected based on their academic performance, demonstrated leadership, commitment to volunteerism, mentorship of fellow students, and ability to create positive change through service and initiative. Consideration is also given to character, perseverance, professional aspirations, and dedication to opening doors for future generations.
Brooklynn embodies each of these qualities.
A Political Science major at Loyola Marymount University, Brooklynn has distinguished herself through her commitment to scholarship, leadership, and service. She currently maintains a 3.58 GPA while serving as Chapter President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, Nu Epsilon Chapter. In this role, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting and uplifting her peers while fostering opportunities for leadership, growth, and community engagement.
Passionate about justice, public service, and advocacy, Brooklynn approaches leadership with purpose and a desire to create meaningful impact. Her dedication to academic achievement, mentorship, and service reflects the values at the heart of Blue Haven Foundation's mission.
