Feeding Families. Feeding Futures.

Updated: Oct 25, 2025

In 2024, the Inglewood Zetas came to us with the hope of securing a $200.00 grant to feed families for Thanksgiving. While scholarship is our primary focus, BHF could not ignore the need to help eliminate for food security as many families have future students who can't study or pursue excellence with hungry bellies.

BHF swiftly approved the request which funded groceries which were packaged into gift baskets for nearly a dozen families through Homelight Family Living (HFL), a program of The Midnight Mission in Los Angeles.

HFL provides the path for families in crisis to reunify, rebuild and restore their lives by providing education, career preparedness, counseling, and life skills to break the cycle of abuse & poverty and ensure independent, successful living.
